Who's driving the bus?

Who's driving the bus?

Your mindset is driving the bus...and we all know how driving can become an "autopilot" activity.

We can lose track of our default settings. You know, how we typically respond to things without even thinking. We seem to forget that like anything else, your mindset is changeable.

And change is uncomfortable.

It's acknowledging that where you are, the things you're doing, are not getting you what you want. And by "what you want" I'm not talking about physical, tangible things. I'm talking about, an enjoyable life, one where you have more joy, contentment and happiness. Where more often than not, you're able to appreciate where you are at this check point.

It really is my mission to help individuals to understand that their experiences are directly influenced by their mindset. To notice that what they're experiencing is a direct result of their own beliefs. It's being aware of how you typically look at things and not being surprised when things turn out the way they do. This is not a criticism. It's reality. Not blame. We're all doing the best we can with what we have.

But if "what is" isn't good enough for you anymore, then that's when it's time to take a peek. To really start to notice what your default is. What your settings are, so that you can make a conscious decision to change.

Because you know what?

This doesn't have to be as good as it gets.

Let this be a check-in point, a "way station" where you make the call. Moving forward, I want more of this - you fill in the blank - not, "I want less of this". I want more of this. See the slight variation there in language. When you focus on what you don't want, you're missing out on the most important thing, what you DO want.

Want. It starts there. One tiny, firm step at a time.

It's making the call that this isn't good enough anymore. You're making a change.

Are you ready?

Let's get to it...

Your challenge...

If you've read this far, I'm guessing, that maybe you have something or somewhere in your life where you want to make a change, where something isn't good enough anymore.

It takes courage to face something head on.

  • That's the first step, acknowledgement.

  • Then comes the work.

A lasting change needs consistent and persistent work until it becomes a habit. Rewired into your brain, so that eventually, you just do it by default. You shift your settings.

One consistent, unshakable step at a time.

You've got this.  I've got your back.
